Hello West Greenville Business and Neighborhood Association!
Please join us for an interactive open house tomorrow, Wednesday, December 11, between 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. at Artisan Traders Event Venue (1274 Pendleton Street) to learn more about the types of amenities that are typically included in a streetscape plan, and to provide input on the specific improvements that you would like to see incorporated into a plan for the Village. City staff will be on hand to answer questions and Parks McLeod from McLeod Landscape Architects and John Darrohn from Darrohn Engineering will give a presentation from 6:00 – 6:30 p.m. The formal presentation is the only structured component of the open house and is intended for residents, businesses, and property owners. Our consultants will present ideas and briefly discuss the challenges and opportunities for the effective redevelopment of the neighborhood. Attendees are welcome and encouraged to drop-in any time between 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. Please join us in this critical first step as we continue to enhance the unique local flavor of the Village of West Greenville.
This is the time to give your input on the streetscape plan!

The first weekend of November is a combination of First Friday and Greenville’s Open Studios. Mark your calendars to come to the Far West End on Friday evening (Nov. 2nd) to say hello to the artists in our neighborhood and us at Artisan Traders. As always we’ll be having fun enjoying art, music, food, and beverages.
DJ Holla is a transplant from the Baltimore/DC area with 15 years of experience in the industry now living and working in Downtown Greenville. He has been able to travel the U.S. and Internationally to DJ, plus brings experience in various kinds of music genres such as Top-40, Rock, Hip-Hop, R&B, Oldies, and much more. He’ll be entertaining us from 6pm – 8pm.
We’ll have on display the works of eight local artists ranging from sketches, paintings, wood work, metal work, and ceramics. And for their fans, Carolina Olive Oil will be back with their unique tasting bar of infused olive oils and flavored balsamic vinegars.
We are holding fast to October by doing one last October Fest hoorah. David Revels will be cooking up brats, potato salad and cole slaw. And, no worries vegetarians, you’ll be taken care of as well! It’s all you can eat for $6. There will also be beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages on hand.
We, at Artisan Traders event venue, invite you to take a look around while you are here and think about booking your upcoming holiday party with us!
